At Emery/Weiner we believe in commitment, not commandment. Our school is not governed by absolutes; we encourage students to take an active role in everything from the development of school policy to choosing the offered extra-curricular activities. It is our goal to empower students to help shape the school environment so that they feel a sense of ownership and so that they become graduates instilled with a keen sense of moral self-reliance. In addition, our school life is framed by and infused with an abiding appreciation for Jewish tradition — instilling knowledge and a sense of pride that students will benefit from now, and for the rest of their lives.
